Congratulations BHS senior Angelina Gutierrez named Student of the Year!
Over her four years at Bridgeport High School, Angelina has maintained a 4.122 GPA while taking rigorous courses including AP Literature, Honors English, Advanced Math and Dale Carnegie in Engineering. In addition to her academic achievements, Angelina has been actively involved in the school community participating in Varsity Softball (captain), Varsity Tennis (captain), Robotics (captain and safety officer), Great Lakes Bay Regional Youth Leadership Institute, Chief Science Officer and member of Leadership Council. Additionally, Angelina is the Class Government President and current Student Council President.
As the recipient of numerous academic recognitions including the Society of Women Engineers Award and the Women of Colors Competition, her future plans include pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Chemical Engineering.
